Coating inspection, failure analysis & remediation
THOMARIOS employs highly educated, trained, and certified coating inspectors from NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) and the SSPC (the Society of Protective Coatings). We can measure many things, one of which is checking coating thicknesses to see whether or not coatings were applied to a proper specification and determine a possible cause of a shortened coating life. We can also use third party testing agencies to review samples to determine and trace back or reaffirm a potential cause of the premature failure. Our employees can then remediate the problem with various forms of surface preparation, utilizing proper product implementation and or new technologies to lengthen and protect the life of your asset.
